What is high strength CBD oil?

CBD oil is available in a variety of strengths. As you might expect, high strength CBD oils contain more CBD per drop than weaker oils. As a result, they are more expensive and have a stronger taste. They’re also less suitable for beginners, who typically have low daily dosages more suited to lower strength oils. However, high strength CBD oils are more convenient and cost-effective for people with high dosages, because fewer drops are needed to reach the daily dose, so the bottle lasts longer.

Why does the potency of CBD matter?

The potency of CBD is important because it tells us how much CBD is contained in each drop of oil. The amount of CBD per drop will affect the number of drops you take to reach your dosage, as well as the cost of the oil and how long the bottle lasts.

What is the highest potency for CBD oils?

The highest potency for most CBD oils is 40%. At Naturecan, our 40% oil contains 4,000mg CBD per 10ml bottle or 12,000mg per 30ml bottle, with approximately 16mg CBD per drop. It’s called 40% CBD oil because CBD makes up 40% of the product, while other ingredients make up the remaining 60%, including minor cannabinoids and the carrier oil.

What are the different strengths for CBD oils?

CBD oils are often divided into three strengths: low, medium and high. Any oil below that’s 10% CBD or less is commonly considered low strength, while oils between 15% and 20% are considered medium strength, and those which are 30% and above are considered high strength CBD oils.

Which CBD oil strength is right for me?
